Imagine going to federal prison as a deputy for upholding your oath. Now imagine the government painting you as a terrorist and a danger to the very community that you served. That is what the DOJ did to Colton. They put him on a pedestal and paraded him around like he was some kind of trophy. Colton’s case was so egregious that Congressman Troy Nehls and Louie Gohmert spoke against his incarceration on the floor during congressional hearings.
Through the years of battling the demons of giving in to the animal they wanted him to become and being the man God wants him to be, he had to make a choice. He chose to follow God’s plan and accept everything that comes his way as God’s way of building him into the man He needs Colton to be.
Colton now focuses on bringing awareness and change to a broken system, mental health of incarcerated individuals and first responders, and how to blend Christianity into politics.
